Bigger bears

Just a quick note to let you all know i have just put two bigger bears on my website, they are both 14" which is big for me.

Seth on ebay

This is Seth who is 2.5". He is made from lovely vintage long pile fabrics in red and a very light brown, he has red ultra suede foot pads. I have scissor and needle sculpted his tiny face and added some shading, his eyes are tiny onyx beads.

He is fully cotter pin jointed and is filled with polyester and glass beads for added weight. I have added a pretty red ribbon around his neck.

Seth with bring his pincushion with him which he also likes to sleep on.

Benjamin

This is Benjamin who is a tad over 3.5". He is made from lovely long pile fabrics in purples, he has purple ultra suede foot pads with pulled toes.

Swap bears

I just had to show you all the lovely bear i got when i did a swap with Lucy Ryder. Edmund is totaly adorable. Lucy makes the most beautiful bears and if you get a chance i would have a look for yourself, her ebay user name is growlnz.

Hi everyone, this is Pip who is just under 2.5". He is made from lovely vintage long pile fabrics in a stunning green and a very light brown, he has green ultra suede foot pads and he also comes with his pincushion which is made by me.

This is Russell my latest bear who is 3.5". He is made from a lovely long pile fabric in a butterscotch colour, he has Yellow ultra suede foot pads with pulled toes. I have scissor and needle sculpted his tiny face and added some shading, his eyes are tiny onyx beads and i have accented them with a white stitch.

Busy busy busy

I am busy creating special bears for Hugglets in London on Sunday 14th Septeber 2008.
This will be my first time at Hugglets. If anyone who reads this is going then please do come and say hi, i would love to meet you :o)
I will also try and put a bear on my website and ebay from time to time.
Oh how i wish there was more hours in the day lol

On cloud 9

I am absolutely thrilled to tell you all that i recieved a phone call from Wendy who run's the British bear artist awards a few weeks ago asking me if she could use one of my photo's to advertise this years awards,i am so greatfull to Wendy and over the moon about this.
I got my form to enter this years awards (pictured above) and when i got this months Teddy bear scene's magazine an advert for this years awards with the photo of my bear on it was inside which was a lovely surprise. So now i am sitting on this cloud which i have only just come off with awards last year and i have the biggest grin on my face :o)

Violet

I have just listed Billy (blue bear) and Betty (pink bear) on ebay and put Karen (pink panda) for sale on my website.

New design

Thought i would show you all my new design that i have been working on. This little one is just 3" and is made from a white long pile fabric.

Lenny in the bottom picture is 2.5". He is made from a long pile fabric in a deep red which has a black backing, he has white ultra suede foot pads. I have scissor and needle sculpted his tiny face and added some shading, his eyes are tiny onyx beads .

He is fully cotter pin jointed and is filled with polyester and steel shot for added weight. Lenny has a little hat and a pretty little ruff.

I have made Lenny a pin cushion which he loves to stand or sit on, he also likes to leave his hat on top of the pin cushion but sometimes forgets where he has left it.

I have just updated my website and added a few new bears, see the above pictures.
Alex is just under 3.5", Timmy is just under 2.5" and Mason is just under 3.5"

I am so thrilled to share this with you all, i have an artist profile in this months Teddy bear club international (feb issue)They have done a fantastic job and i am so greatfull they did a profile on me and my bears.

Tandy

This is Tandy who is just under 3.5". She is made from a long pile fabric in a deep red which has black guard hairs, she has rust ultra suede foot pads that have pulled toes. I have scissor and needle sculpted her tiny face and added some shading, her eyes are tiny onyx beads and i have accented them with a white stitch.

She is fully cotter pin jointed and is filled with polyester and steel shot for added weight. I have added a pretty red organza ribbon around her neck.

It has been a while since i last posted anything in here but i have been so busy with the bear.

The pictures above are of my christmas present from my lovely hubby which i did get a little early and i hang my head in shame it has take me this long to post a picture of him. My new parrot is called Buddy and he is oh so cheeky and a very funny bird as you can see from one of the pictures, he is an Orange winged Amazon.
